There's no reason for Harvey Dent to be white, not even in the comic books. His race isn't intergral to his identity. He could just as easily be played by a black actor or an asian one--as long as they got the personality right, his race wouldn't matter.

If you want to check out a great early Eion Bailey performance, check out Kevin Smith's friend's movie "A Better Place."

@ElranzerRa's al ghul and Scarecrow didn't stray too bad, I mean they kinda ignored the whole Lazerus Pit thing even though they did mention eternal life. The scarecrow was at least still a crazy psychologist. Burton's Joker was pretty damn spot on... but Bane in Batman and Robin basically made me want them to never make another Batman again.

Batman Begins already drags as it is. Another hour would kill it. I agree with you about the casting though. And I have no idea what Holmes is doing in there. Schreiber's a great actor but I reckon Bailey would be great, too. They can Rock Paper Scissors for it. I'd rather it wasn't Ed Norton or Jamie Foxx, though.

As long as they never give Batman nipples on his suit again, I'll be a happy camper. They should make Billy Dee Williams as Harvey Dent.A little Lando Calrissian makes everything go down smooth - especially Colt .45

A long while back I heard an early rumor about John Cusack taking the role. That would have been awesome. Edward Norton would be good too... hopefully the new guy can pull it off, too.
