kotaku.com— Here's a few new screens for Animal Crossing Wii. I like Animal Crossing as much as the next guy who likes Animal Crossing, but really, Nintendo, you could have tried a little harder.

An animal crossing MMO? No, I disagree, I admit I'd like better graphics, but I like that my town evolves with my choices not the choices of everyone else. I'm going to buy it too, so don't feel so bad, it's just too cute and fun to pass up.
OK GUYS, we're all going back to 2D, because the gameplay will be better if they spend less time on the graphics.Seriously though, Nintendo only invented this "gameplay over graphics" mantra to keep their costs down. Yes, the graphics on Nintendo games are bad, but no, the gameplay isn't better than on any other system. So basically, the consumer loses while Nintendo wins.
That reduced me to a depressed, needy state. All I got online for was to kill some time until my clothes in the dryer were done. Why did you do this to me!?
Animal Crossing has long term appeal. LittleBigPlanet seems like it will be cute for about an hour or two, then never get touched again. It has "Spore" written all over it.

I'm disappointed they never went with the Animal Crossing/Silent Hill crossover game. =(

Is the game worth it? I've never played an Animal Crossing game before but I use to like playing Harvest Moon for my GBA which I think is similar.
