It's just allowing Quicktime to detect the closed-captioning info in the blanking interval at the top of the screen (those white dots fluttering around if you ever notice a capture). Like your TV, it won't detect the CC info if it's cropped-out or ruined by compression, scaling, etc.
@ossapladReal natural voice! Better than the one from OSX... and I don't like saying it, because I AM a fan-boy. :phttp://actor.loquendo.com/actordemo/default.asp...and let Susan speak. :)The original text is a bit doll, so I suggest that you'll copy & paste the beneath. :)---Hello?! I work on a PC at work, and I can tell you right now that I'm much more productive from home on my old G4 tower. Go back to hiding behind the skirts of Microsoft, appleosux - the world is a scary place with all these, you know... differing opinions n' stuff.
Wow, I just turned on time notification and found the new voice speaking to me an hour later, I was blown away I had to pause the movie I was watching and check it out. Good work, Apple! Now I set my alerts on and use phrases from Randy (Trailer Park Boys)... Its hilarious to hear the computer say CINNAMON c**kS! Your DOwnload Is Done!
