Netvibes is a bad Google Reader replacement - there's tons of popups, buttons and links to click whereas in Google reader you select a Feed or a Group and just scroll along the full articles - can't beat that. Plus only feeds that actually have updates appear in my list.Netvibes is, however, a really fantastic personalized homepage. Gmail, Remember the milk, iCal, eBay, del.icio.us and box.net all on one tab and actually looking great - sold!
I had been on goowy (which is more of an online desktop) for a while, but there was very little customization. I might switch to this because of this new ability to code widgets.
