I got a brand new 50" plasma for $568. I'm enjoying it very much, thanks for asking. Screen burn isn't much of an issue on modern plasmas, and even if I eventually do have a problem I can't complain with what I paid for it. Erm...how well Blu-Ray is doing?Did you fall for the percentages trick?Look, I'll make it simple for you. Blu-Ray, during one week in January and according to leaked NPD data, had around 90% of the HDM market. Now, throw DVD into the mix and you're talking about 1%.HTH!
dark: when i looked at it the scratch was really small and just so happened to be grooved juuuuuust right along the read line...it's just murphy's law in action, and we all know how that law works...cool thing about blu ray...when i inserted the disk, it immediately told me i've have issues...i ignored it and eventually got it to play...yeah it didn't...as warned.
