telegraph.co.uk — In a continuing effort to justify an all out bombing of Iran, American Diplomats have been ordered to began preparing detailed lists of Iranian breaches of International Law. Don't you just love our government run amok? I bet the US list of violations of International Law would be quite lengthy as well...

Congratulations. There are a lot of idiots on Digg that have absolutely nothing to offer, but you are in a mindless category of your own.

Because they are basic lies. Israel is 20% Arab because that is all that is left. Without the ethnic cleansing they would be the majority in what the US mass media keep referring to as 'the only democracy in the Middle East'. It is a democracy only in the way Apartheid South Africa was: by excluding others. The conflict between Israelis and Palestinians is not about religion, it is about LAND and water. As for the Muslim fundamentalists ascent: the US has supported the Muslim Brotherhood, the Saudi regime and Afghan jihadists (among other extremists) against the secularists and the left for decades, just as Israel supported Hamas against the PLO. The US has been meddling in the Middle East since WWII, with the most extreme example the overthrow of the Iranian democratically elected government in 1953. You reap what you sow. The conflict with Iran is not about religion, it is about OIL.

110 congressional democrats voted for the war. While not an overall majority, it is a substantial amount. Furthermore, if you want to associate wars directly with parties, take a look at who was in power during the Vietnam war. Your argument against the right works just as well against the left.It is not right wing ideology that is to blame or the Iraq war. It is the idea that war is an option for dealing with any perceived threat. If we throw out all the republicans, we'll still have politicians looking to involve us in other conflicts. Have you heard Clinton talking about Iran yet? It reminds me of what the neocons where saying about Iraq.

You don't understand. That's ok.The 'pin' is the threat to pull petroleum out of US currency; the 'boom' is when it actually happens, though, the result will be the exact opposite of an economic boom. It's going to happen soon if we keep on our current path of threats and attacks. The world won't put up with it too long.
