Kristin, you have done a great job of explaining our plight! I have been smoke free since April and attribute my success to this amazing device. After smoking for 40 years, I am FREE! Thanks so very much for this very informative article. I hope this will get many other smokers thinking and that they will check out the ecig forum and read all of the valualbe info there. I would encouage EVERY smoker to at least give vaping a try! PuffinStuff
Excellent article that provides a reasoned, logical approach to a device that can save the lives of millions who are desperately looking for an effective alternative to tobacco. It is truely disgraceful that a pharmaceutical funded front organization like ASH is more interested in their massive funding than they are in saving people's lives. The lies, deception and bully tactics from ASH, in order to keep people smoking tobacco, is incrediably sinister.
Kristin, that was really well written. But it is not only the FDA abusing public trust. What happened to journalism? The mass media is simply regurgitating press releases and sound bites prepared by FDA without any critical thinking, without any analysis. Does the media have any responsibility reporting the truth here? Does the media have any responsibility for the harm that distribution of misinformation about electronic cigarettes causes?
Fantastic article! In addition, the FDA has known all about electronic cigarettes for over TWO YEARS!!! So why did it take them so long to deem e-cigs as unsafe? Could it possibly be because initially there were not that many users, hence Big Pharma not really getting pinched? So all of a sudden as the e-cig grew quite a bit in popularity,, well now they are unsafe! Typical polital nonsense!!! Someone should be sued! Can we sue Ash for knowingly delivering misleading and incorrect statements on the topic of e-cigs simply for their own financial gain? After all, if e-cigs are banned partly because of the misinformation ASH has provided, many users will be forced to go back to regular cigarettes and will eventually get sick. We need a good attorney to take a look at all these sides and possibly initiate a class action lawsuit. You cannot intentionally mislead the public and pull health figures out of your a** simply to line your pockets!!!
Excellent article, and sorely needed. The FDA and these other alphabet organizations pretending to be looking out for our health have messed with the wrong group of folks this time. We have the TRUTH on our side, and we are fighting a battle to save our lives. In the end, we WILL win this war, but in the meantime I can only wonder how many lives will be lost due to the actions of those who are protecting their money at our expense.
Great job Kristin ! Thank you and everyone who helped make this happen. The FDA and ASH needs to be exposed more often to show people how incompetent, irresponsible and dangerous they really are.We do need some type of regulation for drugs but I believe the FDA does more harm than good. And I believe organizations like ASH and anti smoking Nazis are a cancer on our society. If enough people stick together we could find a cure for THIS type of cancer !
Thank you Kristin. I support the E Cigerette and it has changed my life! I have been using the E Cigarette instead of "traditonal cigarettes" for almost 3 months now..have not felt better in years, others around me are greatful that I no longer smell like smoke. I have not had the urge to pick it back up again, I had almost given up thinking it would be possiable for me being that I was a pack and half smoker for over 25 years.Thank you again for the wonderful article!
I quit analogs (real cigarettes and tobacco) a month ago, and have not looked back. After trying everything, the FIRST DAY OF USE of my personal vaporizer (My model is a Joye510 or 510 as we simply call them), I never had zero desire to pick up another tobacco cigarette. In 3 days, I noticed my body changing as a result of quitting tobacco. This article is great in pointing out all of the facts but here is another real life human being who smoked for 16 years, and is free from the stranglehold, health risks, and smell....yuck (how did I ever do that and not notice) of smoking tobacco after one days use. Good job Kristin!
