tivocommunity.com — Ok, this guy has had a beeping in his house for almost a year. And yes, he's changed the batteries in his smoke alarm. And no, it's not in his head, there's audio and 2 vid clips in there... There has been 500 posts and nothing concrete. This thing reads like any good drama, you'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll rack your brain for an answer!

"Well on behalf of myself and lulu37 I'd like to thank everyone who came over today to help locate the beep. Special thanks to Inundated for driving 6 hours to help out and buying the sound meter...also to Havana for baking a cake. I obviously am a little embarassed but I knew that was a likely outcome, I am just happy the beep is through. "you have got to be kidding me. 6 hours to find a beeping alarm. how nerdy can you get >_

Ok, so I have a mysterious beep in my house and I do not have any sense of direction to be able to tell where it is coming from. What do I do? I go post to the Tivo Community Forums about it, and ask people who aren't in my house where that sound is coming from, of course!
