ocia.net — Say you just upgraded your rig and thought your PSU would support it, but it just can't. You need some extra juice, but you don't have the 200 bucks for a whole new supply... wouldn't it be nice to toss an extra 325W on there for the third of the cost of a full new PSU? That's what Ultra thinks...

If you don't mind rebates, you can get Antec PSs for $20-$30, just need to keep your eye out. No need to buy cheap. Once in a great while, you find FAR.

Who spends $200 on a PSU? Only f**king idiots.

"Also, being a power supply that blows warm air into your case..."I think that sums it up right there. Front of the case in a drive bay is just about the last place I want to put something that generates as much heat as a power supply.

I'm betting that you have that thing hooked up to a system that barely even uses half of that wattage. I'd also like to see your rails when you're in the midsts of playing TF2 or whatever it is you play.

Why is he getting dugg down? Very few review sites actually test PSUs properly, under varying loads while monitoring efficiency, noise and heat. SPCR is the only one I was aware of.

Gross. You want to see his rails.
