thinkprogress.org — Today, on C-SPAN’s Washington Journal, Rep. Jerrold Nadler (D-NY), who has held several hearings on the Bush administration’s torture program, said that President Bush has committed “impeachable offenses” "If we had a just system and it weren’t overly political, the president would be impeached. He has committed impeachable offenses."

AsylumAleikum,You should emigrate to Cuba or North Korea. You are the one who apparently has issues with our system of government, and I believe you would be much happier in North Korea (as long as they make you believe that you are part of the ruling class).I'm not even sure how you could rationally make such a comment, unless your public school failed you abjectly, and you do not have any knowledge of the constitution, or American principles, or have a basic knowledge of how a Democratic Republic works. You appear to have confused socialist totalitarianism or outright tyranny with what this country is really about.Yeah, you really should move to North Korea, I think it will much better match your expectations. You'd love it.

Bush may be impeached, but he's not going to jail. When Bush began the "War on Terror," we the people supported him, almost unanimously. We enabled him to pass the Patriot Act with overwhelming support. We have blood on our hands, too.I believe that Bush should be impeached because the end doesn't justify the means. He has turned our country into a police state that writers and scholars have warned about for decades. He is beginning to do to us what we once deplored in the USSR. The terrorists have already won, in a sense. We have lost our ideals, and therefor we have lost our freedom.
