nytimes.com — Matt Drudge came to national prominence a decade ago as a nemesis of the Clintons who used the Web to peddle, gleefully, the latest news and rumors generated by the Monica Lewinsky scandal. That people in Mrs. Clinton?s campaign orbit would now tip them off on scoops, speaks to the enduring power of the Drudge Report.

"I think it's fine the way it is. It loads in a snap (much much faster than digg on opera) and gives me a great set of news articles. It's not even heavily conservatively influenced either."I second that except for the conservative slant -- it still has one, but fortunately it's very easy to pick up on (and ignore). Still a lot of good links.

When will the Lefties ever learn? Drudge just posts links to stories on other sources (with his own headings) - nearly identical to Digg in that regard.

WTF are you talking about? It's a story from the New York Times (not left) about Hillary Clinton (not left) and Matt Drudge (not left.) Why drag us lefties into it? We don't have a horse in that race.
