hardocp.com — Five up-close and personal pictures of NVIDIA's new G80 reference video cards. You can see the new water cooler implemented on one that will be required due to 300 watt power loads. And yes, it is longer than the current generation's high end card.

No HDMI? WTF.

If I can't run it on a 350W PSU, I won't run it at all. Everyone has their limits, that's mine :)I refuse to be a part of this absurdity, but I'd be happy with a Geforce 8600 of reasonable power requirements.

How about an external power brick just for the video card. I wouldn't mind as long as it was silent.

Oh, this s**t site is on the front page again. Now, now, little kylie, you've been working hard to get Diggers to your stupid ass site, didn't ya?

what happened to lower power consumption?

That'll be a while... Videocards are already using DDR4, while we're still using DDR2 for CPUs. Laying out traces for swappable DIMMS kill the ability to use high speed RAMS. Graphics is memory bandwidth bound, so it will always be a few generations of memory technology ahead of CPUs and motherboard-pluggable memory modules.

Open Challenge to Kyle-Please explain why you cropped the pictures from another website and did not give them credit? You refuse to admit to this, just like every-time you have been caught stealing other sites information or falsifying article scores - http://img351.imageshack.us/img351/1940/asusp5be002bn2.jpg .When will you properly credit the site for the pictures?

"Wake me when they make 1.21gigawatt PSUs"Why not invent a flux capacitor so that you can go back to the future and buy one at the store?
