"NTFS does not have the metadata capabilities of a real filesystem."Oh, so NTFS isn't "a real filesystem"? Learn something new every day.*bangs head against wall*
@colonelpanic414 "Just wondering, but what do you mean when you say NTFS isn't a REAL file system? I don't know much about FS'es, so... try to keep any explanations kinda simple...lol"You have a user name like 'kernel panic' but don't know the answer. In my experience, this is a pretty solid indication that you won't understand ... ROTFL ...
Beware?I was using ntfs-3g today. Mounted my XP system drive (C:) rw on a FC6 install.Don't remember writing to the C: drive, but upon reboot to XP, XP had issues:XP shutdown right after bootup. This went on for a few reboots. I rebooted to FC6 re-mounted C: ro and umounted it. Rebooted and AVG-virus scanned C: in XP.Don't know what caused the instability in XP, but mounting C: in FC6 was the only new variable.
