kotaku.com — "Playable Wii setups will be available at a variety of retail outlets. We expect that anyone who wants to try Wii will be able to through multiple different methods. In addition to retail outlets, Wii will be playable at a number of mall tours throughout the country, the nationwide Nintendo Fusion Tour and other grass-roots consumer events."

how are they preventing people from stealing the wiimotes? same goes for the SIXAXIS. Steel cable most likely for the SIXAXIS, I assume. It would not interfere enough.

At Gamestop the WiiMote and Nunchuck will NOT be attached to the kiosk. They will get stolen.

Look at the picture in the article. Do you see those white things hanging below the controller? That's a tether from the WiiMote to the stand.

"...retailers will either receive a traditional pre-built, self-contained interactive kiosk with a TV, Wii and controllers or just the Wii and controllers..."They will either get the full displays (like in the picture) or just the Wii and WiiMotes. They will have to provide their own TVs. Why the hell would Nintendo send out demo WiiMotes without the units?
