Well even if that was true, the majority of the victims DO grow up to be offenders themselves. What exactly would you do when chosing how to deal with a pedophile? Send him to prison where he is given special treatment so he is not attacked by other inmates... so he can get out on good behaviour and reoffend...

the whole point of jail is to get somone rich...jail systems are privatly owned and it feeds itselfI agree though, id much rather see somone get help and then let out in a controlled way then to just throw somone in a system thats going to demorlize them as a human and cause them to come out more screwed up...next time they might rape and kill.
