Excellent question. Did you ever see Bush holding hands with a Congressman? The Saudis own Bush. He's their man, far more than he is ours, I'm afraid.

Rove is thinking, "If we just could have cut the American people completely off from the death and destruction taking place in Iraq we could have won this war. This is all the 'liberal' media's fault."

The "cowards" were supporting Bushco because they didn't want to be against him at the time. Now that the country is demanding troop pullout, they are hopping on the other bandwagon now, because their jobs are in jeopardy.

Because none of them are responsible. As much as I do want Bush out of office, I don't like scapegoating, either. There is a heck of a lot more responsibility for whats gone wrong in this war than just Bush. I think each member should be held accountable for their own actions. This 'Well, the President pressured us into it.' BS shouldn't fly.

The thing that finally brings to his attention the seriousness of the matter? There might be a *gasp* Democratic President in '08! Of course, that doesn't even begin to mention the fact that Republicans are still predicted to have massive loses in races for House and Senate. It looks like Karl Roves 'Republican control' dream is going down in flames.

There are mental illnesses to describe the need to be right when you are dead wrong. This isn't just about Bush--his actions are responsible for hundreds of thousands of deaths, American troops are risking their lives every second, and our country is financially bleeding so badly that we're in danger of becoming a colony to those holding our debt.It is time to hold Congress and the Senate responsible. They have the power to effect change.
