nasa.gov — It's well known that black holes can slow time to a crawl and tidally stretch large objects into spaghetti-like strands. But according to new theoretical research from two NASA astrophysicists, the wrenching gravity just outside the outer boundary of a black hole can produce yet another bizarre effect: light echoes.

you cant empathize? most jobs ARE contract jobs these days. The IT industry in in very sorry shape and the contracting method they are now applying to every profession. Very soon no one will get sick days or vacation.

I've been a contractor for most of my career. I've had a more flexible schedule, and more vacation time then most FTEs I've seen. If you're a talented contractor leaving a client means "I'll take a week or two off then start a new contract". If you're a wannabe it's cause for panic.
