Hooray for nihilism! It is amusing to watch deniers use science to support their beliefs, and then decry it as religion when their beliefs are contradicted by science.note: "Denier" is a descriptive term, not a pejorative. A person who denies something on no basis other than belief is a denier.

You do realize that the Mayan calendar is based off the solar and lunar cycles right?

The cool thing about Sol is it could kill us in 8 minutes and there's not a damn thing anyone can do about it. Not just cook a few satellites but outright incinerate all life on this planet in a single CME. If our sun won't do it, there are literally hundreds of millions of others more than happy to oblige. It's really a marvel we've lasted as long as we have.
