climateprogress.org — It was the hottest April on record in the NASA dataset. More significantly, following fast on the heels of the hottest March and hottest Jan-Feb-March on record, it’s also the hottest Jan-Feb-March-April on record.

"Funny, how this crock of junk science comes out just in time for gloabal warming debate on capital hill"What global temperature data set are you using to come this conclusion?"People in Colorado do not believe this garbage because it has been colder this year than any of the previous ten."Any clue how climate is defined? What the word GLOBAL means, any?"Liberal policies to restrict co2 will do the most harm to poor people."This message brought to you by BP.

you are the loser for worrying about something that we have 0% control of.

30 years -131 years.. And the Earth has been a round for how many millions of years??? We know the planet has had Ice ages and hot ages.. Think I'll pull my head outta the sand and just say "it's the planet being the planet" I'm pretty sure no matter what we do it's still gonna be here..

"so in YOUR world, linking to the website of the IPCC constitutes an answer? So...NO answers."What is the matter here? Afraid to do some reading? Fearful of the answer? "No, there's no conspiracy. Except for the part where the head of the CRU admits there's no global warming.http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/science/nature/8511670. ..."You do not even bother to read your own links do you? He says no such thing. I have a crazy idea. Let us read what he actually says!"B - Do you agree that from 1995 to the present there has been no statistically-significant global warmingPhil Jones: Yes, but only just. I also calculated the trend for the period 1995 to 2009. This trend (0.12C per decade) is positive, but not significant at the 95% significance level. The positive trend is quite close to the significance level. Achieving statistical significance in scientific terms is much more likely for longer periods, and much less likely for shorter periods.""E - How confident are you that warming has taken place and that humans are mainly responsible?Phil Jones: I'm 100% confident that the climate has warmed. As to the second question, I would go along with IPCC Chapter 9 - there's evidence that most of the warming since the 1950s is due to human activity"So much for that lie. Why do you think that you lie without getting caught?

Because 4 months is pleeeeeeeenty of time to make assessments about climatological trends....What's next, NASA, tell us that because it was warming at noon than this morning we will all bake by midnight? Durrr. Why don't you guys go back to killing astronauts and wrecking stuff into other planets?Meanwhile, according to you own data (and NOAAs thrown in for good measure):NASA DATA (last dozen meteorological years):Source: http://data.giss.nasa.gov/gistemp/tabledata/GLB.Ts ...Year D-N 1998 57 1999 34 2000 34 2001 45 2002 57 2003 52 2004 50 2005 62 2006 53 2007 59 2008 43 2009 56NOAA DATA (last dozen years):Source: ftp://ftp.ncdc.noaa.gov/pub/data/anomalies/annual.land_ocean.90S.90N.df_1901-2000mean.dat1998 0.59711999 0.41992000 0.38862001 0.51732002 0.57462003 0.58172004 0.54142005 0.61532006 0.55992007 0.54722008 0.48042009 0.5569Hey, look at that. If it WARMS UP A LITTLE, it will be as warm as it was a dozen years ago. Boy, look at it warm.LOL at NASA pretending to do science.

I was suprised at this news since didn't think it was that hot this spring and we were having a cold spell a few weeks ago.

Perhaps I should clarify what Permafrost is. Permafrost is mostly partially decayed lichens and mosses, continuously growing and partially decaying then freezing again in the arctic tundra.800 Gigatons converts to 1763698097479020.5 Pounds of Carbon released into the atmosphere. The Greenhouse effects from that would be catastrophic to say the least.
