livescience.com trying to prove myth is real ... hmmmm. ..well , anyway, if it's something scientific then it must be true right ? Hey I got an idea, Since those atheists don't believe in god. Why don't we use science to convince those smart athiests that God does exists and science has found his birthplace ? Perhaps we can convince them it is so , if science say it is, then it must be scientific and true .. right ?Stay tune, next month livescience.com will reveal artifacts from the birthplace of Paul Bunyan!

Your argument makes no sense. Science can't prove God doesn't or does exist. The point of God is that there is an ultimate being who presides over the universe, planet, or whatever you believe. A supernatural being that is able to create, destroy and manipulate. What you call "luck" or the "flukes of science" could easily be divine intervention -- or -- just chance.Whether you can open you mind to that possibility is another topic. Saying "show me proof" can be used both ways. Why don't you show some concrete proof that God doesn't exist? You can't. There's no way to know, because the conception of this being is so far beyond what we has a human race are capable of scientifically proving.I choose to neither believe nor disbelieve, but hold the option that maybe it does exist, because only in extreme human arrogance can you think otherwise.

A religion is a cult with a lot of members. Like Scientology.

That's a very convincing argument you make, sign me up. I think Zeus is a pretty cool guy. eh smites foes and doesn't afraid of anything. But, uh, can I sort of worship Dionysus more than Zeus?

Oh, almighty Fasm, please forgive the acts of these heretics. Please don't make them spend the afterlife in a pool of rottingspaghetti. Let them find the sweet, moist, chewy, nourishingtruth. All Hail His Noodliness, Fasm, the Flying Spaghetti Monster. Oh,almighty Fasm, you are tasty, but I should not eat of you, for Iwould be performing the act of cannibalism. Instead, I'll prepare abatch of spaghetti. The noodles shall represent your body. The water that gives your body life shall be thought of asyou fluid of life, or blood. Once it is done, I shall eat of yourbody, and drink of your blood, and my Bowl shall be full. Now, let us digest.Rraaaaaaaammmmmeeen!

I'm not pro-religion. I'm anti-ignorance.And judging from your little "you are wrong and I'm right" speech there, you just verified my point.
