6174 is still there in the kernal/digit table at the end.4 digits = 61746 digits = 631764........ 6(3)17(6)48 digits = 63317664.....6(33)17(66)410 digits = 6333176664 ..6(333)17(666)4huh. That is weird.
1 x 1 = 111 x 11 = 121111 x 111 = 123211111 x 1111 = 123432111111 x 11111 = 123454321111111 x 111111 = 123456543211111111 x 1111111 = 123456765432111111111 x 11111111 = 123456787654321111111111 x 111111111=123456789 87654321
The reason they are all divisible by 9 is because you have transposed numbers. Take the difference of any number and a transposition of itself (ie 27 and 72 or 6174 and 7164...) Accountants use this fact to see if there is a transposition error in accounting records if there is something off.I would say the fact that fact is the most interesting.

I saw Matt Damon do some awesome math in one of his movies. Maybe he can explain it.

he starts off with 12 in the first place, so when he hits 6+6=12, he starts from square 1.12:1+2=33+3=66+6=12 .. 12 again!12:1+2=3etc etc
