opencongress.org — OpenCongress has come out with a new version which allows you to network, discuss, evaluate, and vote on what's happening in Congress. You can track specific bills, Senators, Representatives, or issues and they've even put together a page on how to make the most of it: http://www.opencongress.org/profile/howtouse

I really hope a lot of people start to use this. The community aspects of it would become so much more useful with more people. And it would be really nice to be able to have some feedback on what some of these bills actually are. Without having to attempt to make my way through the entire text of every single one...

Everyone should join and participate. Send a shout to your friends. I hope that “we the people” will finally be able to make a difference.

Hmmm... intriguing. What's next? A Digg clone where bills are submitted and voted on by the community, perhaps? Could be interesting.

This is a great way to keep in touch with our government representatives and have a greater voice in the government process.
