To all of those who think a company seeing these game ideas would just go ahead and steal them, here's a reality check: even if you disregard the fact that they would be exposing themselves to a lawsuit for stealing your idea, there's a much more compelling reason for them not to steal the idea. Very few game ideas are surefire or near-surefire hits. What makes a hit is not the initial idea, but the execution. So they'd rather go with the ideas of veteran (proven) game designers than just anyone on the Internet.Secondly, why steal one idea when you can hire the designer and hope to get more great ideas? There's a reason why very few people get hired on the strength of a web-published game idea: the vast majority of these ideas aren't very good to start with (most of the ideas I see are of one of these two forms: "it's just like [Hit Game X] but with [new game mechanic that doesn't really add much]" and "it's just like a cross between [Hit Game X] and [Hit Game Y]) The people who get hired on the basis of "amateur work" are the modders and the indie designers who actually deliver something that is playable.I keep a blog where I try to come up with great game ideas (and which I started long before this MyGameIdeas.com site was created) that are different enough from what's been done before: <a class="user" href="http://stealmygamedesigns.blogspot.com&quot;&gt;http://stealmygamedesigns.blogspot.com&lt;/a&gt; . Until I actually get to work and make one of these games myself, I don't expect any of these games to get made. Coming up with these kinds of ideas is much easier than actually making a good game.

I'd say, for my own part, I'd prefer to get my truly great ideas made, regardless of getting paid. I WANT TO PLAY THAT GAME ITCHING IN MY HEAD. Now, not everyone's the same way, but if you look around the games industy, most of the people involved are, I'm sorry to say, not that original/creative. Yes, they have the magical "get things done" power, but certainly a collaboration between strict idea people, and capable programmers/designers is not, by itself a bad thing. Though, at that point it's not so much "my game ideas", but "cool game brainstorming.com"...

indeed, it's not that developers don't have enough ideas, it's that an idea also needs to be sold to the audience.some game that might be fun to play (a good idea) but doesn't relate much to known genres won't sell because people don't know what they would be buying.

A friend and I worked with the lead designer on an internal proposal for a game company he worked for. It was an interesting "modification" of one of the really popular shooters out right now. Sadly they didn't bite, but it would have been fun to work on that.

Putting an idea up here pretty much guarintees that it won't get developed by a game studio.They wouldn't touch someone else's idea, there is just too much liability involved. So ironically, putting your game ideas up on this site will probably make them even less likely to turn into actual games, for fear of lawsuits.

I gut this sweet zombie game idea. Its a mix of GTA and Resident Evil. The frist RE not the new ones. It's free romeing so you can steel cars go in serting buildings. It's like GTA in it becouse you will have to do missions for the people that are still alive. And it's like RE well you no0 the zombies. Name for the game if Rockstar made it GTA Raccoon City. You would be a guy coming home from the war, you ride in on a nice day noticeing that all hell broke lose while you were gone. You notice a women running at you and then a bunch zombies get her you run and hide in coffie shop you notice a dead cop you grab his gun and th game begings.So what do you all think of that game.P.S. It's for Xbox 360 and Play Staytion 3.

Hi.I'm Jackwriter and I'm new here.I got these game ideas.See if you like'em all.BrioneStory:Once upoun a time in a peaceful world of Casteriz,everyone votes for the new mayor SalleWhitebrush.But one day Bady a gangster along with Socky kidnaps Salle.Who will save her now?It’s all up to the police man Brione to stop Bady once and for all.Gameplay:The game is a 2d platformer.The player’s goal is to rescue Salle and defeat Bady.Brione can run jump punch and swim similar to mario games.But instead of a goal line at the end of the level,the player has to capture crooks as much as possible or atleast Catch the crook with a key to get access to the next level.There is a timelimit for every level.If the clock keeps decreasing,more crooks will disappear.When all crooks disappear the game ends with a gameover sign.If the player collects the “Awsome Mooo”Brione’s hands can change into mechanical tools like a hammer,shovel,driller etc,allowing him to solve puzzles or catch harder crooks.If the player collects money from crooks,Brione can go to mints and unlock secret levels.At the end of each stage the player must fight a boss.Once done the player can access to the next stage.Okay the story may be boring but at least the gameplay is interesting.Okay onto the Next one.Story:One day in the present fictional world called Gadcarnet city,Max FeuJack a secret agent along with Alec faretch receive messages from the commisioner Lt.Surge.The evil scientist Dr.Vanderick Phisix has stolen the Gigaplasmic gem from the Giga labs.This gem has the ability to turn non living mechanics into robots.Vanderick uses the gem in five places.the Gadcarnet city,the junkyard,the south pole,the Omega ocean and Vanderick’s hide out.It is up to Max and Alec to stop him. Gameplay:The game is action adventure game.The player plays the main heroes Max and Alec who can run jump swim shoot fly(sometimes)and do stunts(But Alec can jump higher).Like many games the player has to complete levels by progressing through puzzles and defeating every boss at the end of each level.The player first starts with an ordinary gun and his back pack which can do things like hovering him.But as the game progresses Max will unlock three new powerups which will upgrade his gun.The water box contains the Ice bomb which freezes enemies and can be easily destroyed by simply touching them.The Bubble field which protects Max like a forcefield for a brief period and the water cannonWhich pushes one or more enemies by force.The fire pack which contains the madbull which burns and kills ememies.The smokebomb which creates a fog to reduce the ememy’s accuracy and the U.V ball which gives massive damage but works only with black robots.and the Lighting pack contains spark killer which acts like a homming missle and kills all ememies on screen.The venom deactivator which deactivates a powerful robot or a part of a robot’s body and other electronic devices like a generator and the Proton bomb which kills the robot and gives energy juice for Max to increase his Star forcefield.These power ups however can only be used depending on how much energy gauge Max’s back pack contains and it can increase by getting chemical portions.The red ones give less energy the blue ones give a medium energy and the green ones give maximum energy.Another powerup is the Megahut boots Max wears in his feet.These boots allow him to perform repeated action commands very fast.For example in lava trace the player must perform wall kicks to escape from the lava shooting upward.After a few seconds if this action gets repeated Max will perform it faster and faster giving the player a good chance to escape.They also help Max to reach further places faster if the dot panels are present.For example when Max hits a switch and when a door opens there will be a time limit for the door to close.Max can reach the door faster by jumping one dot panel to the other.Max has a powerful forcefield called the Star forcefield which acts like an energy bar.If the player gets hit five times the game ends.The player has two choices to obtain energy.the player can use the backpack to charge the Star forcefield but doing so will decrease the backpack’s energy gauge.Another way is to collect subtanks and use them whenever needed.You’ll like the next one.Its called D.N.dragon ninjas.Gameplay:It is a beat’em up game. Players goal is to defeat enemies and a boss at the end of every stage. Players choose three of these characters Max feujack Harris mattwhite and Kalie Rio, each with different abilities and different stories. Each character has a different storyline. But unlike the other beat’em up games, this follows a different concept. Instead of the energy bars which the player and the boss have to know how much health or damaged caused, the game focusus on a “random Bar”mechanic meaning that the player will not know how much health or damaged the character has given or taken, Forcing the player to be more careful and quick. However the player will know the energy position by carefully looking at the character and knowing his position.The player can restore health either by drinking sodas from the soda bar and eating food from a restaurant . If the character faints,the player must dodge an evil sprit’s attacks for a limited amount of time(Rex if Max,Dincky if Yeaso,Tre-zi-lu if Kalie).The amount of damage will make the character’s decision either to fight or give up.If the character gives up the game ends.Although it sounds an easy task,the player will soon find it difficult to handle.When in combat,instead of killing one and going to the next one the player has to defeat them in such a way that they can’t chase the character.For example, Max defeats the enemies and faints them down,but after a few seconds they recover and fight Max.So in this case Max has to defeat them and run to another path so that the enemies don’t find him.Although some enemies can easily be killed by weapons some are invinclible.Fighting is also different.The player can perform any kind of fighting styles meaning that the characterCan perform a variety of attacks.The player can change fighting techniques by using the solo,kazak and bang modes by pressing the x button.the solo mode is for normal punches and kicks.Kazak mode which is for using agility or perform more stronger moves.And finally the Bang mode which is only used for defeating enemies or bosses in a single blow.However in order to use these modes(Except solo)The player needs to either restore health or stay in good position.Using too much of these modes will make the character more weaker and will move slower than before.At the end of a stage there are five belts orange,brown,green,black and a tiger belt.If the player gets any of these belts it will upgrade speed,power and health with the exception of orange and brown belts.Story:Each character has a different story and a different plot.Yeaso Gotchya:One day a kung fu master Kharn challenges his brother Kamil a new way of kung fu fighting.But to do this he must get himself a student.Kharn found a guy named Yeaso beaten by a bully.Yeaso then agreed to learn martial arts with Kharn.Later Kamil decides to challenge Kharn’s student to a duel.Despite Yeaso’s victory,Kamil refuses to accept his defeat and he explains to Yeaso about an evil lord shadow named Dincky.Once an emperor named Fuize-Tung got lost in a desert and five evil warriors,DarkVolt,Haze,Ibra,Blizzard and Dincky surrounded him.The five attacked the emperor but were no match against him.When Fuize was about to kill them ,DarkVolt told Dincky to use the spell book to transform all of them into powerful beings.But instead they all got caught in the explosion.Fuize thinks they are dead and leaves.But the five were transformed into shadows instead of powerful beings.This would mean that they can’t harm anything or touch anything due to their invisibility which is one advantage.The only way they can get back to normal was to find a person who is pure evil and take control of it.The four blame Dincky’s stupidity and banned him out of the team.Upset,Dincky decides to cause evil in his own way and to do that he has to get the Morgan circle from the Fuiji temple.But When he got there a priest flunged him to another dimension where he will never return.But Dincky will never rest until he finds it and somehow he found a person of pure evil and takes control of it.Hence he has wrecked havoc everywhere and killed millions of innorcent lives.After Kamil finishes the story,Kharn requests Yeaso to go buy weapons.Yeaso was just about to use his move Nintusu until Kharn tells him to practice navigation for the time trial lesson.Yeaso agrees and goes by walking.Yeaso discovers some evil shadows attacking Kalie Rio Hoaska a blind man.Yeaso saves Kalie and offers to help the blind man by teaching him martial arts.But when they come back, they find out that Kharn is gone and Kamil is badly injured.Kamil tells Yeaso that Dincky has kidnapped Kharn and requests him to save Kharn. Agreeing Kamil’s request,Kamil gives Yeaso a power that is not known yet and he tells him to use it wisely but this causes Kamil’s death.Yeaso reads the map that Dincky has drawn and the two agree to rescue Kharn .But Kalie fell on something.The two open the bag and find the Morgan circle.When Yeaso steps on the circle a dragon comes out.The dragon does not find the old man and realises that Yeaso and Kalei must be his students.Knowing that the old man is in trouble the dragon offered them powers.But before he gave the powers he warned them that they cannot perform moves from other kung fu masters but only with the powers from the circle.Yeaso refused because he trusted Kamil’s new power.Seeing Kalei blind,the dragon gave Kalei the wind power.This helped Kalei sense things which can guide him.The dragon wishes them good luck and dissappears.They first head to the train station which leads them to the Hole of Fears where Dincky is.But as the train goes a fog begins to come and suddenly shadows cause trouble in the train.After Yeaso and Kalie stop them,the train crashes and they end up in a forest which is not the one where Dincky is.The two decided to split up but the fog causes them to go to the wrong directions.They finally made it to Dincky’s forest but they need the password to enter Dincky’s hideout.After they find the password,they get lost in the cave and are attacked by a giant worm.After that,they finally found Kharn.Yeaso tries to free Kharn but Kalie senses something odd after which Dincky arrives and attacks them.Yeaso realises that whatever attack he performs does not affect Dincky at all.Yeaso was then reminded about the power Kamil gave him and he uses it.Suddenly Yeaso’s attacks begin to work and now understands how Dincky is strong.For the host Dincky fuses,he is invisible because his whole body becomes a shadow and the only way to fight him is to become a shadow.With Dincky defeated Dincky can only kill them if he knew the spell to turn into a more powerful being which he forgot.Yeaso got his spell book from the giant worm and he destroys it.Dincky gets angry and tries to release a huge power but Yeaso stops him with a single blow killing Dincky.The cave begins to collapse and the three escape.Kharn congratuates Yeaso for his courage.Kalie thanks Yeaso and decides to go and find his destiny leaving Yeaso and Kharn.The game ends when Yeaso goes out with a girl for a date.Kalei Rio Hosaka: In a far away pagoda lives a peaceful unit.When suddenly a huge army of bandits known as the Black arrows started killing people and destroying towns.Tre-zi-lu the head of the Black arrows heads to his brother Ke-lee-lu to take over his place.the two began to fight.Ke-lee was almost defeated until his son Kalei saves him and fights Tre-zi-lu.Tre-Zi-lu slices off Kalei’s eyes making Ke-Lee angry.Ke-Lee quickly puts Kalei into a coma and puts him on a horse leaving him riding somewhere far away.The next day Kalei wakes up and ends up in a desert.The horse leaves him there.Kalei realises that his home is destroyed and he decides to get help from a kung fu master but suddenly the Black arrows found him and sends him to prison.Kalei escapes and rides another horse.Soon he makes it to japan and he is suddenly attacked by some bullies until Yeaso saves him.Yeaso decides to help Kalei by teaching him martial arts.
