Hey guess what. Not only do I play violent video games. I do it while listening to Korn! so apparently I'm gonna go kill a bunch of people. it has nothing to do with the fact that video games and music are outlets to divert energy away from killing people.

I completly agree... well worded and well said.i would also like to add, that there are issues with the bullies too, that need to be looked at also, they don't just do this for fun... they are also quite unhappy people and they perpetrate these acts to make "weeker" people feel as miserable as they do.

No, I am not saying that people would be unable to execute such plans without the detailed explanations from the media.What I am saying, though, is that the media is feeding the fire by putting ideas that would have otherwise been non-existant into teenagers' heads. Though this is true, I suppose it would be impossible to avoid broadcasting such monumental events. All that I am saying is that while the media points fingers at any other possible scapegoat, they fail to realize that they are the main cause of these events.
