mashable.com — As if we needed more proof of MySpace?s intolerance of outside development, News Corp. chief operating officer Peter Chernin told investors at an industry conference today that since much of YouTube?s traffic comes from MySpace, it?s time to cut out the middle man.

I want myspace to DIE, I use that piece of crap because everyone I know uses it, we need to move on to a better website.

Peter Chernin is an old media idiot - don't blame MySpace for it.

dsmero,it actually used to not be like this? The only thing I think of when i hear myspace mentioned is how it has led to this thing girls do now in pictures when they make that weird kissing formation with their lips... what is that about? If your lips aren't thick and luscious, doing that isn't going to help, it makes you look retarded.

really myspace 'interface' sucks, you must be pretty good in using microsoft software to get the most of it... i always get lost somewhere in myspace... hey that's there concept

myspace cant overcome youtube. i dont even use myspace video and i get on myspace everyday.

it makes sense though. if youtube is making ton of money off the back of myspace. why wouldn't myspace want to create their own youtube kind of service so that users can upload videos to directly to myspace. if many myspace users start doing that. myspace can potentially earn or expect to earn as much as youtube will.
