Cripes! It's just submitting OTHER PEOPLE'S stories on a web site under a fake name! For all the hoopla, if MBM leaves, it won't make a difference to 99% of the people that use Digg.

Who gives a s**t whether MrBabyMan gets a lot of front-page stories?Who gives a s**t when their own submissions aren't dugg?Who gives a s**t whether MrBabyMan does or doesn't keep using Digg? Why the hell is it such a big deal to get a submission on the front page? You going to put it on your resume? Expecting someone to cut you a check? Will it give meaning and purpose to your life? I don't even look at the submitter of articles I read or digg--why should I?In short, who gives a s**t?

Ok. You dig the other submission simply because you know that even if you re-submit the piece it won't reach the FP. Now, if you had enough friends on Digg that you thought you had a chance of making the FP would you still not post the story? And no...we don't "all win" if MBM doesn't submit duplicates. Because those duplicates don't make it to the FP and the majority of users don't get to see them. At least when he re-submits stuff we get to see it.

@TrichomonasThe issue with that would be a lot of people complain about getting duped. I'm aware how often he dupes, but I have seen several stories where people complained about getting duped with valid evidence. I really don't care what Babyman's intentions are, if he's in it for the glory of making front page or just wants to spread some cool news, but duplicating stories is a crappy thing to do.Part of the problem in my opinion lays with the digg community where they don't support people who actually have a valid claim at being duped. Everyone here thinks the most appropritate action to take is to tell him to silence and bury him. Personally, if diggers just looked at timestamps after someone claims to have been duped, they should go ahead and digg the original story.

I buried you because your post essentially said 'bury this if you want MrBabyMan to quit.'

Reading the comments above me I realize digg is full of f**kin' noobs who have no idea that MrBabyMan and his network of power users virtually set the agenda for what makes the front page every day on digg. Why not just rename this site to thingsthatmrbabymanfindsinteresting.com
