Common guys stop dissin firefox. You know it owns. Everything is gonna have flaws in it every once in a while. That's life it can't be prevented. And screw Opera it has a clunky interphase and no one wants to pay money for a browser.
Linux and Windows are not comparable at all.Windows is just toy, sees keyboard as keyboard.linux is VERY powerful, sees keyboard as stdin device and this makes possible to redirect streams and pipning etc.Firefox and IE are not comparable at all.IE is just a big joke, non-multiplatformed, soo much bugs, soo much known security holes, also 0day exploits out there. with ActiveX, which is non-multiplatformed.Firefox is powerful browser for multi-platform, custmization level is awsome. some known security holes but patched or can be fixed by disabling something by hand everytime.(like 1.0.3's javascript RAM leak) and patch will be released within a week, and Mozilla DOES NOT hide security informations. like Microsomething do.

all you need is a simple about:config tweak. you should have done this months when this problem was first announced.

Using Firefox 1.0.6-moox ( <a class="user" href="http://www.moox.ws/tech/mozilla/">http://www.moox.ws/tech/mozilla/</a> ) here, and quite happily. Network.enableIDN is already user set to false, but I didn't do it. It must have been Firetune ( <a class="user" href="http://www.totalidea.com/freestuff4.htm">http://www.totalidea.com/freestuff4.htm</a> ) staying 1 step ahead of, well, everybody. :P
