I would like to see Thunderbird show the number of messages in each group when viewing in the 'group by' mode. This would help me determine who is sending me the most spam.
I hate to kill this lovefest for the idiot but I agree with him, partly, I use outlook for my contacts and calendar but its thunderbird for email and RSS
I love Thunderbird and use it as my client but one of it's biggest flaws is the lack of "minimize to tray" being built in to the client. I assume if it was a built in option the memory requirements when minimized could be greatly reduced. Which leads me to my second gripe, it uses a lot of memory when it is sitting there doing nothing. I still love it though.
Yeah, Mail is faster and better integrated, but it is technically far inferior to Thunderbird, especially in its IMAP implementation. One problem that forces me to use Thunderbird for one of my accounts is that Mail doesn't support multiple IMAP prefixes, like Thunderbird does. The end result is that Mail can't open public folders on said IMAP account.
Is Thunderbird still unwilling to export mail into readable formats? for example to outlook?Because I used it for quite some time, until I needed to export some email to my Outlook client at work and I had to download some third-party program to do the task..Hated all the work it represented.. In the end, for commodity, I switched back to Outlook.

I am hoping that they will allow the collapsing of sub-threads in newsgroups. 'Tis the ONLY thing that I miss about OE.

Thanks, I'll wait until a release candidate comes out. :)
