That's actually a really good idea. It makes it a lot more compelling to keep data in Firefox when you can use the bookmarks elsewhere with ease.

What ban on "rival" browsers are they taking about? Apple recently approved Opera mini for the iPhone. Why can't Mozilla submit a browser too?

Seems a bit silly to buy an iPhone knowing it has no Flash support and then complain about it having no Flash support.

You just got to love the Apple Excuse Brigade. "Its not a ban on browsers its just a ban alternative rendering engines" "You can use Opera" "Rendering is fine JavaScript is a no no" Folks its not a iPhone it is a ourPhone (for you to use ours to control)Sent from an OPEN device running an OPEN browser.

Right, 'cause before Apple, people were running all sorts of desktop browser ports on their phones.I remember using Safari, Firefox, and Opera on my phone back in the day.Oh wait...

Wow, did you think of that all by yourself?

Isn't this what Microsoft got sued for? They actually never even went as far as to ban other browsers! What gives?

It specifically mentions the browser though. Duplicate functionality and the browser are specifically mentioned.
