Leaked torrents will always be a double edged sword; if it's good it earns you extra sales. however if it's poor you lose a lot of hype.

If a person likes the movie after watching the bootleg movie or music, they will go out and buy it. Sure, some people will just keep the bootlegs only. But there is nothing wrong with them trying it out before they buy it. That way, the damn companies have to work harder. IF their crap sucks, then it won't sell. If it is good and something you would want to add to your collection, I know a lot of people who will buy the original to prove he has it. Otherwise, he'd just delete it.
