blog.scifi.com — Motorola's update to their ubiquitous RAZR phone is getting ever closer. Formerly codenamed "Canary," the slim phone will be known as the Motorola K1 RAZR. A touch longer yet more svelte than its big brother, it has a built-in 2-megapixel camera and a Micro SD card slot for cranking up capacity built-in memory. Release date is still a mystery.

Yes they do update the hardware. There are about 5 different phones in a 'RAZR' shell, (including a 3g one). Do you think you can upgrade to 3g just in software? And increase the camera resolution just in software? If you don't actually know what you are talking about, then don't comment......

Why do companies keep ignoring the fact that people who buy bleeding edge tech stuff often work in environments where camera phones aren't allowed? I want something that looks cool, gets awesome reception, and has kick-ass battery life. A good calendar/reminder function is a plus. I aleady own a digital camera, mp3 player, bidet, espresso machine, and clothes iron/macbook. None of these functions needs to be built into my cell phone.

I don't think I like the new design...I own an original V3, and I'll probably go with a sidekick III when my contract expires...

Come on Motorola.... i know you like your new features and all but dont you think you should wait longer than a month to release a new RAZR?Why not try coming up with alot of ideas and then bring it all together into a new phone every 6 months? that way people will want to upgrade there phone.
