Why would we "expect it from Microsoft"?The only reason you don't hear about unlocking the Windows Mobile bootloaded is that there's no need. There's plenty of people out there creating new boot ROMS and "kitchens" for Windows Mobile. My phone came with Windows Mobile 5 - there's no WM6 available from HTC or Telus - and yet I'm running WM6 on it anyway.Locking down cell phones - and desktops - is an Apple thing.
