pcmag.com — "PC Mag got a Motorola Q, and already posted a review, saying: excellent phone, great for e-mail and Web surfing, very thin, and is easy to use with one hand. The review praises voice quality of the smartphone, calling it the best Verizon phone they've tested. They also liked the Q's ability to transmit stereo music over Bluetooth." - gizmodo

I want one of these so bad, I think that streaming video from something like Orb or slingbox would look pretty good on that screen. Lots of other nice features on this thing too. Whatever you think about Verizon, this is still probably one of the best phone/pda that they've ever come out with.

Well, it's most certainly not a glorified treo. One is Windows Mobile, one is Palm OS, both are completely different. I had high expectations for the treo 700, but after reading reviews for the windows version I held off on my purchase. The OS can make or break a smartphone, in the case of the 700w it, for the most part, broke it.The one handed usability was pretty good (no stylus) on the 700w, but not perfect. And the OS itself used up too much memory, leaving other phone operations somewhat lagged. I expect the 700p to be praised more than the Q due to the OS itself.

We've been through this before - you're in the vast majority. The point is, there still are people who see a benefit to using a device like the Q.
