@MerrebornThat assumes that the band being sued can afford a lawyer to get it thrown out of court. You can be sued for a few chords sounding too much like another bands. In our legal system its all about who has the money and who doesn't. It sucks I know but there is a very real possibility that if the RIAA sees this as a threat they may try a last ditch endgame against this technology. Case in point look at what SCO is trying to do and what MS is trying to do with their Novell partnership. As any defense attorney will tell you, you can be sued for anything at any time regardless of whether or not your guilty.

Yeah, JT Bruce is very good. I just found Jamendo a couple of weeks ago and downloaded two of his albums.

anyway, you can make a gift to the artists you like. Everybody has to participate to this little revolution.0.1$ by millions are near 10$ by thousands.

Try <a class="user" href="http://www.kraytracker.com">http://www.kraytracker.com</a> as well. Good stuff and the staff there do alot of work behind the scenes to keep the site legal and filled with music goodness.

"Who is still on the mainstream track? Nobody is. Its like 5 or 10%. The rest of the consumers have a much broader and diverse music taste. Half the artist we listen to are indie.""This statement doesnt jive with actual record sales. The top selling albums are top selling because they sell the most units. I hope you are not suggesting 5% of music consumers are buying the same cd over and over.

I've been using this site for a few months now. they have a lot of good music to offer and its a great place to find music that has no association with the RIAA , It allows you to find new and interesting music while still participating in the Gizmodo boycott. i even added it in all my directories: <a class="user" href="http://www.maxidirectory.net">http://www.maxidirectory.net</a> - <a class="user" href="http://www.maxilinks.net">http://www.maxilinks.net</a> and <a class="user" href="http://www.maxiwebsites.com">http://www.maxiwebsites.com</a> , DUGGED

The author has mentioned very much a vital topic today. It seems to me that the problematics of this clause enables to reflect and draw conclusions. You can as to look sites in Russian which mention this theme: <a class="user" href="http://www.rolid.org">http://www.rolid.org</a> <a class="user" href="http://www.se-ua.com">http://www.se-ua.com</a>

Fantastic! I hate the RIAA, I love this site. Every artist was independent at one time, so you might be listening to the next Hendrix...For free! All artists should stay independent. Record labels will rip you off anyway. The same theme on Russian sites: <a class="user" href="http://pivo.in.ua">http://pivo.in.ua</a> <a class="user" href="http://www.alcogol.kiev.ua">http://www.alcogol.kiev.ua</a>

No doubt as a reaction to all the bad press he's been giving record labels, Universal/Interscope has relieved Trent Reznor of his contractual duties.<a class="user" href="http://mp3away.com/letters-mp3-o/">http://mp3away.com/letters-mp3-o/</a><a class="user" href="http://mp3away.com/letters-mp3-p/">http://mp3away.com/letters-mp3-p/</a><a class="user" href="http://mp3away.com/letters-mp3-q/">http://mp3away.com/letters-mp3-q/</a><a class="user" href="http://mp3away.com/letters-mp3-r/">http://mp3away.com/letters-mp3-r/</a><a class="user" href="http://mp3away.com/letters-mp3-s/">http://mp3away.com/letters-mp3-s/</a><a class="user" href="http://mp3away.com/letters-mp3-t/">http://mp3away.com/letters-mp3-t/</a><a class="user" href="http://mp3away.com/letters-mp3-u/">http://mp3away.com/letters-mp3-u/</a><a class="user" href="http://mp3away.com/letters-mp3-v/">http://mp3away.com/letters-mp3-v/</a><a class="user" href="http://mp3away.com/letters-mp3-w/">http://mp3away.com/letters-mp3-w/</a><a class="user" href="http://mp3away.com/letters-mp3-x/">http://mp3away.com/letters-mp3-x/</a><a class="user" href="http://mp3away.com/letters-mp3-y/">http://mp3away.com/letters-mp3-y/</a><a class="user" href="http://mp3away.com/letters-mp3-z/">http://mp3away.com/letters-mp3-z/</a><a class="user" href="http://mp3away.com/letters-mp3-dig/">http://mp3away.com/letters-mp3-dig/</a>
