engadget.com— Now that the iPhone has moved from rumor limbo into the land of the living, we obviously need another mythical mobile to drool over and speculate about

cant leave well-enough alone. hopefully they see how the iPhone does before they launch - then they can rectify any oversights. (nothing against apple... there's just always consumer oversights on a new product)
I got an unlocked phone, it cost $349. It has saved me that much and maybe more by being able to negotiate with the various carriers. Not being locked into a 24 month plan makes it easy to shop around and only sign a 3 or 6 month contract at a time.
Inaccurate title. should be "More details pulled out of my ass about the completely imaginary Google phone"Plus engadget blogspam. What an awesome article thanks again diggers!
"although lets hope the tradeoff isn't being forced to listen to ads every time we want to make a damn call"We won't have to listen to ads with every call. There will just be a little bar at the bottom of the screen with text ads ...
And if other news... NO way would google have a prototype that fast and if they did im sure we wouldnt see it till days before they release it (as we did with the iPhone).

That is NOT a google interface. Google would make a blue and white interface, not a read and black and white interface.
