techcrunch.com — "This is an update on the post I wrote about del.icio.us earlier today that showed massively decreasing traffic on the site according to Comscore, and flat traffic from Alexa. Del.icio.us says that Comscore is 'deeply flawed' in measuring del.icio.us and says 'the actual stats are hugely up across the board.'"

I don't really give a damn how popular they are, I love the site and its a lifesaver having instant access to all my favorites from any PC.

its not a branch of another company that wants to put its views first who cares if for the sake of money they over http://www.ggov.info/sitemap.htm estimate their user numbers so long as their users arnt being payed to provide content who cares.

Beyond that, didn't we come to something of a consensus that since his first stats were based off of traffic through delicious.com, that they were inherently flawed? So this guy starts screaming the sky is falling down, attracts a mountain of people to his site, only to see an almost unnoticeable "note:" that the stats are based off of the site's obscure mirror (I had no idea the site owned delicious.com, too), then he posts again to show the figures are off, but totally passes right over his previous sensationalism? Why is Tech Crunch popular again?

I don't think there's anything wrong with using both... Digg is more new related while del.icio.us is more for personal bookmarking.
