Right, global climate data can be gotten from one site in Greenland, because the Earth is a flat, featureless place with no variation from place to place."Climate Deniers literally are ?Flat Earthers? nvm, that was ccsp...have link somwhere about Briffa's management of the chapter, highlighting his own work and rejecting others' work that wasn't in full agreement with it...amazing IPCC would let a lead editor have control of a chapter dealing with their own work...

I regret to say it's been quite awhile since I experienced the feeling of amazement I used to get when I would find something like that out. I think Hulme is right... the time of the IPCC has passed. It is far too politicized.I do suspect that, never mind all the activist bluster, ClimateGate will ultimately have an enormously positive impact on the science. Whether the activists like it or not the window has been opened and fresh air has been let in. While we still have a long way to go, already I've noticed a dramatic improvement in the ability of scientists (and the media) to say "well, hold on a second here" and not be immediately shouted down and written off as some "denier" nut.Does any of that mean AGW theory will eventually be overturned? Don't know. At least there's a decent chance of it being a little more critically evaluated now, exactly the way it should have been in the first place.

Won't matter to "greenfyre", either, or to any of the brainwashed Nondeniers.
