Global warming is caused by the sun emitting more radiation. It is predicted that this will be one of the coldest winters on record because the sun is not emitting as much radiation as it did in the 90's.As far as carbon dioxide being a contributor to green house gases, the best way to cut those emissions is if every member of congress held their breath for about half an hour or so. That would cut emissions immensely, not to mention stopping congress from doing any real damage to the environment.
