ugh. i'm getting tired of telling you pro-abortion guys that pro-choice is supposed to allow women to CHOOSE, not to abort every time she gets a hangnail.
"I would say this has far more to it than evolution"But who is to say that wanting an abortion has nothing to do with evolution. A species may lean towards waiting for the best time to increase chances of survival. Evolution also doesnt say that 100% of a species will act in their genes best interest, but those that don't wont get their genes carried into the next generation and so will represent a tiny minority at any moment in time. What makes a bee sacrifice itself for the benefit of the hive. I doubt it's to do with it's uncontrollable love for the hive. The genes dictate it behaves this way so that the genes at the level of the hive propagate to the next generation. Just because an individual doesnt self propagate doesnt necessarily mean its not contributing to its gene pool.
I should respect you because you're stupid and scared? Why are you ok with all other religions? Truth is not a democracy. Oh yeah, because you don't want to talk to them because it would just confuse you more until you realized neither of your religions make any sense. Then you'd actually have to think about life and universe in a rational matter and that's just too much effort. Ok, if you don't want to THINK that's your choice but don't bring your ignorance into public forums and try to pass laws that have an affect on others. If you're satisfied with your holy book and it's stories, your state of mind is not valuable to the rest of humanity and you might as well just go off and enjoy your life with your religious friends and go to heaven because no reasonable person wants you to make any sort of political decision.

The fact that we propagate our genes is *how* we exist today, but that does not mean it is the *purpose* for our existence.

She abandoned her family, when she didn't have to, to me thats selfish and cruel.

Having advanced cancer chances are she would have died anyway, maybe months later. Tough decision, but almost no options.

She had terminal cancer, she wouldn't have survived with or without treatment. If you get liver cancer you're basically screwed.

It wasn't a bad decision because she was allready had terminal cancer. She would've only lived a month or two after if she didn't have the baby.

Wow. What a heart wrenching choice to have to make. Her entire family must be devastated by this loss.

In a day in age where human life has lost its value, it is truely amazing to hear a story like this. My prayers are with her family, and thank God there are still people like this still out there in the world. http://www.edrugsearch.com/drug-info/
