gigaom.com — At $99 a year, I expect my online service to function all the time. So perhaps that is why I am a little upset that Apple hasn’t been able to launch their MobileMe service properly and are experiencing outages. The fact that the service was supposed to launch at a time of Apple’s choosing, leaves no room for excuses on today’s problems.

This may be just my machine, but while using the WebKit nightly, MobileMe would only show the iDisk page while not allowing me to access any of the folders or applications. When I switched to Safari 3.0, all seemed to work fine albeit a tad slow. Odd.

99.9% uptime is not a crazy thing to expect and especially so when it's glorious Apple and Steve Jobs.
