howardforums.com — It seems that MobiTV forgot to add any security to their SprintTV application. Now that the cat is out of the bag, it seems they are starting to send out cease and desist orders. Its amazing that a commercial app can be this unsecured.

and then wouldn't google also be in violation? <a class="user" href="http://www.google.com/search?q=filetype:mcd+site:mobitv.com&complete=1&hl=en&filter=0">http://www.google.com/search?q=filetype:mcd+site:m ...</a>Not that it would have prevented it from being discovered, but shouldn't they update their robots.txt/robot.txt to prevent crawlers from coming across this? Perhaps it should require an SSL connection? Or even a ESN/MEID/MDN querystring token check to see if it is actually a Sprint customer with valid permissions to view content? Dunno, just a couple of ideas.
