This is why legalizing assisted suicide is a complex issue. Understand -- I'm not saying we shouldn't work to find a legal solution, but this is why it's complex.
These were not your "psychos, freaks, and douchebags". They were vulnerable people that suffered from suicidal thoughts and depression. The chat room was setup to help them.Read the f**king article next time you dick.
@Zenith Is depression an adaptation to the environment? Is it specific to an individual or an entire genus?Once again taxonomic classification is based on species-wide adaptations. If depression was a "Darwin"istic trait there would be selection for or against and a whole new species would created. Are you trying to say that people who are depressed are their own species?Darwin's theories are tools, and you've got to use the right one for the right job. Once again, look to psycho-social theories for more individualized psychological traits. And don't get pissy with me. It's not my fault that your professors were not clear.
