startribune.com— The posting by "zepdrummer612" of Minneapolis said he was 19 and couldn't decide whom to vote for, and he offered to let the highest bidder decide.

Why has this 19 year old college student has been arrested and charged with a felony after facetiously offering to sell his vote on eBay that could lead to $10,000 fine or 5 years in prison. What has all the public advocates in Minnesota been up to, celebrating Canada Day? WTF!, So does this mean that attending a formal dinner hosted by candidate X and subsequently openly advocating for said candidate invalidates ones vote, on the basis that one has unknowingly sold it for a evening dinner? The world in which we live today is unfair, it's horribly corrupt and the old laws which were written are used as weapons against us, not as shields. Why waste away your already elusive decaying vote? I'm a adherent of the idea, ones vote has no owner, no absolute alliance. Where you can change your association as you change your mind. I would recommend more then two controlling parties that haven't arrived here through very corrupt means and wars. Many voters are looking forward to 2009's presidential results. After 232 years of development the best America can offer is despair and warfare. Many are looking forward to voting in a new president and ushering the end of the reckless and broken Bu$h regime. Isn't racketeering the framework for many of Bu$hes international treaties and the reason why we are in Iraq, hasn't he earn impeachment, yet?
