torrentfreak.com — Mininova, one of the leading BitTorrent sites, has been suffering from a massive DDoS attack over the past few days. Please, tell me why you think that the BitTorrent protocol is in any way illegal. go ahead, I'll sit here and wait while you pull something out of your ass.

I'm a geek so most of what I watch are podcasts about technology. I'm sorry but any company that wants to censor the internet, impose data caps or create three strike rules should be wiped off the face of the planet by any means necessary legal or otherwise.

Can you even back up that claim of 99%? because I'm very sure that in a two week trial of one of the most famous torrent sites, the ONLY professional witness to bring any facts about what gets downloaded from torrents found that over 80% of torrents surveyed were non-copyrighted and perfectly legal to download. Please, you can sit there all you want thinking you are so high and mighty for decrying torrenting and all downloaders as immoral pirates, but you have s**t to back it up with.

which is exaclty why it is a waste of resources to DDoS the site when it already acts fidgity. Mininove obviously doesnt reinvest in the website. I dont even go there anymore because it is sickening the number if time i have to refresh the page to actually see something.
