cbsnews.com — An Illinois woman says her beloved miniature dachshund gnawed off her right big toe while she was asleep. The 56-year-old says she has no feeling in her toes because of nerve damage from diabetes. She discovered the toe missing after waking from a nap Monday. A veterinarian says the dog was attracted by a healing hangnail. GROSS!

Maybe if she fed her dog he wouldn't be so hungry. Pretty sick just the same. Diabetes is a bitch.

Dogs are carnivores, not omnivores. They cannot digest vegetables or grains. We force them to eat these things, and they just s**t it out. It's filler. Meat, bone and organs are the only things that give dogs nutrition.
