if it's possible to set up your monthly auto-pay using a credit card, then yes, it's possible to have your credit take a hit if the erroneous charges put you over your limit.that said, using a credit card to pay for your MMO is probably not the best idea.
Just because you bounce a payment, or a check, does NOT mean it gets reported to your credit instantly. It usually means the bank or lender will try to contact you, harass you, threaten you, and then maybe send you to collections and then report it on your credit.Often you need to be more than 90 days late for a lender to finally report that to your credit report, they would rather try to get money from you and not deal with it.
I've seen this used more and more recently. And it's always in video game articles. I don't know who started it, but I'm constantly reading "Microsoft are", "Sony are", "Infinity Ward are" and I don't understand what the f**k they're thinking. I'm finding these mistakes on more than just small blogs I find through sites like N4G, but on many well respected video game sites as well.
I think it started with "The Simpsons," you know when it comes on, someone inevitably says "hey the simpsons *are* on!" when "The Simpsons" is the name of the show and is singular. I think that may have been where that began.
EVE had the best PvP, now it's pretty much blob wars and clicking on coloured squares whilst hoping the lag dosnt freeze you up completly, no real skill needed, just the ability to fit a ship with a huge optimal range. 90 % of the players seem to be afraid of 1v1 and small gang combat now, dispite all the rants on the forums that they do this all the time, yeh right noticed that.

Doesn't matter if you quit. People were charged who had quit. The billers restarted their account, and put the fees on it.
