Tell that to the banks and car companies that were bailed out. Not to mention the nearly 800 billion in stimulus money that was thrown into pet projects and special interest groups for politicians. So the government can give over 2 trillion dollars to whomever they see fit, money that has to be repaid by taxpayers, but if those very same people are given too large of a tax credit well government is more than willing to say "sorry, you don't deserve it" Hypocrites.
