usatoday.com— A military nurse who cared for Saddam Hussein in jail said the deposed dictator saved bread crusts to feed birds and seldom complained to his captors, except when he had legitimate gripes.

I wonder how this nurse would feel after being exposed to the families of Saddam's torture victims. Would she still feel so much compassion after spending time with the families of those he sent through industrial plastics shredders?Cry me a river.
"Look at the mess over there now-- the quality of life has dropped in a big way for the majority of people, and thousands of innocent people have died with no end in sight."yeah, those stupid Kurds had no idea how good they had it. and those people he had put in the industrial shredders probably had it coming./sarcasm
Call it sympathy for the devil, but I agree with him when he said: One day when I went to see him, he asked why we invaded. Well, he made gestures like shooting a machine gun and asked why soldiers came and shot up the place. He said the laws in Iraq were fair and the weapons inspectors didn't find anything.I think that the war was unnecessary, is still unnecessary, and Bush is responsible for the death of every American, Brit, Australian, Iraqi, and any other nation that lost people in the war. Now that Iraq is in a civil war I honestly don't have much hope for stability in that country. One day it will happen, but how many more will die? And for what purpose? Why is Iraq the scapegoat for 9/11?

He loved Doritos, mushy romantic movies, and American Football too. Still glad he's dead however. Some people just need killing.
