They should, but they won't.They don't want We the People to hear what We the Veterans have to say.You can bet that Hucksters and McCain's-Men will have this one buried ASAP!
Incorrect, bensdad03. If you are going to pretend to know the rules about what military personnel can and can't do while serving in the military, I suggest you do your research first.I am in the military. There is absolutely no rule abridging a military person's right, protected under the First Amendment of the United States Constitution, to free speech. The only rule that exists is that military personnel (like anyone on government payroll) may not use their position or use government resources to stump for a candidate. In other words, they may not show up to a rally and give a speech while in uniform. In addition, officers may not speak out against politicians or policy, but this guy is enlisted, not an officer.Brad
these3remain,Do not judge based upon a few overactive supporters.Look at the candidates, and ask yourself which one has a plan to get us out of the Iraq quagmire. Who best to defend our borders? Who best to pull our dollar out of its slump.Basing your vote on a few people on the internet is a dangerous fallacy. Vote on issues.Brad
Would any of these war mongering candidates send their sons in the heat of battle to die? Hell no. They would send us. We wouldn't anything more to them than just a number. They want to increase the military? With what and with whom? This soldier is 100% right. Honor... we lost our honor when we invaded 5 years ago. Why dont we promise these soldiers who are dying a safe return rather than "honor" for a few dried old men sitting in Washington.
