engadget.com — The pictures are kind of blurry, but this is what engadget had to say "An anonymous tipster sent us a bunch of pictures he shot last night from the outside of the Saturn Cafe in Santa Cruz.. this guy claims the pics depict the filming of a commercial of a possible "iPod killer" from Microsoft"

even if it spit gold dust as it played music, I think it would still be a hard sell to a public so experienced with Microsoft's other quality and performance promises. I think they'll have to approach a new generation of consumers who do not automatically associate everything from Microsoft with Windows, in order to make it a success. Maybe they should delay it's release until 2020 so that it coincides with the formal release of a fully functional version of Vista...

iPod killer is an oxymoron...and to the guy who was 'teaching a lesson' to everyone bitching about the blurry photos...what are you trying to prove with you R727? lol...If only I had my cam with ISO3200 we would have seen the iPod wannabe

Yeah, and besides, the Cowon iAudio X5 already "kills" the iPod in my mind. Too bad it's not really going to catch on because they don't have the advertising muscle Apple does.
